EffectiveSoft today announced the addition of Rod Molina to its U.S.-based leadership team, further cementing the company’s commitment to expand its local technical capabilities. Rod, who will be based out of his native country, Costa Rica, will be serving as Delivery Director for the LATAM region. He joins from Millicom, where he was the Digital Platform Manager for DevOps and Cloud and will report to the company’s newly-appointed Chief Technology Officer, Mark Minehart.
With 20 years of experience, Rod has held various technical roles in the information technology, telecommunication, and digital media industries in various IT roles ranging from engineering, solutions architect, DevOps, cloud technologies, and agile transformation.
In this newly-created role, Rod will be responsible for building out technical talent in the company’s Costa Rica regional office. His structured approach to building, managing, and growing a remote tech team in a nearshore location will be critical to EffectiveSoft’s growth strategy. Additionally, Rod will lead a large team of business analysts, developers, enterprise and solution architects, and QA testers for clients who wish to expand their access to specialized talent, reduce labor and hiring costs, and manage their growth demands while navigating complex technical challenges.
